SUCCESSFUL "Desert Thunder Invitational" 21 OCTOBER 2012

Message from our Commander - - -

MOPH 572 would like to thank everyone who worked to make our shooting event a success!! From the outstanding support from our sponsors, to the range safeties and staff personnel who spent all day out in the sun and, of course, the shooters who came out to play, we were able to raise over $5,000 for our programs to support our brother and sister veterans and help encourage citizenship and patriotism in our youth. While we sincerely appreciate everyone who supported this effort, there are a few who, without their dedication, this event would not have been possible. With that, MOPH 572 would like to thank Mr. John Brennan and Mr. Josh Rummerfield for driving the train through all of the planning, coordinating, borrowing, recruiting and lobbying in putting this event together. We would also like to put out a special thanks to our sponsors for believeing in us and helping us out where they could. They are: SAIC, Trail Boss Outfitters, Firearms Advanced Scenario Training (FAST), Sierra Vista Range, Hookn' and Cookn', Dillon Precision, 3M/Peltor, Home Depot, Hubble ATA Masters Academy, AZ Rangers, Original S.O.E., VLTOR, Weathers Woodworking and Buena High School JROTC. Again, many thanks to all and we'll see you again next year!!
