Check this area OFTEN for our next scheduled Highway "Police Call"!!
Posted 31 August 2014. A followup Hiway police call on Hiway # 90 took place the morning of 29 August 2014. The police call consisted of 28 enlisted personel of the 305th MI BN, 111 MI Bde. Our mile sector of Hiway 90 shoulders was plucked clean of trash by highly enthusiastic troops of the BN. The officers of the MOPH 572 Chapter was pressed hard to keep the troops supplied with blue trash bags!! Weather was still hot, traffic was still dangerous and heavy, but as usual, no casualties!! Posted 24 August 2014. Adopt a Hiway police call on Hiway # 90 was accomplished the morning and afternoon of 17 August 2014. The police efforts were performed by the Lts of the 304th MI BN,111th MI Bde. Participating were 2LTs Rebecca Tummers, Stephen Patton, Tyler O'Neal, and Peter Kaputsos. Also participating was Eddie Weathers, Commander MOPH 572, and the Vedvick family, Christopher Vedvick, Adjutant/Finance Officer MOPH 572, Daughters Lorelai and Evelyn, and son Archer. Weather was hot, traffic was dangerous and heavy for a Sunday, yet these dedicated participants accomplished their mission with flying colors. We can't thank them all enough.
